along side "old-school Funk" They
have incorporated the Middle Eastern techniques
of melodic improvisation with Jazz.

- “Movements” Heavy funk fusion
laden with ripping guitar solos.
"Jaafarmusic presents" has unearthed
from the vaults these recordings of KungFusion , a
power trio of heavy funk fusion, Troy Cole –
bass (of Jaafar), Mike Nicholson – guitar, and
Dave Elias – drums, accompanied by brother Bill
Elias on percussions. These are 2 ep’s –
a studio recording from the summer of 1995, and a
live recording at the end of 1994. |

Released 2009 -Created by legendary guitarist from
P.M. BULLDOZER, Pat Madison assembled LADYFINGER in
the mid 1990's deep out of the dregs of Durham, North
Carolina along with writing partner and lead singer
Ken Daye, bass player Troy Cole, drummer extraordinaire
Doug Karger - thus giving birth to a stellar ensemble
destined for what would later become local myth. And
the song writing contributes to LADYFINGER's ability
to cross over listening boundaries and connects with
a wide diverse audience. This
